Time to update this thing....Again...And again and what the fuck, again....**ETA: Updating again in May 2009 here, completely and absolutely gobsmacked by the wonder that is the ST reboot!
Go on and add me as a friend if you like, I love having new people to share all my crazy fangirl ways with, haha. I am open minded, a bit of a nutter, honest and loyal to an absolute fault. I am married to a man who drives me absoltely mad, which may be part of the reason I love him so much. I am mom to the most enigmatic, energetic and frankly, tiring almost seven year old boy ever. He is my heart and soul, that one.
What else should I tell you about me? I am an active particpant in all things fandom! Well, maybe not all things, mainly Life on Mars (the original BBC version only please, not that shit American remake), new Who, Supernatural and sometimes still Harry Potter, Star Wars and Xmen. I write lots and lots of it, Gene and Sam are my current favorites, though Doctor and Master will always be right at the top (notice a theme there? Yeah, that's be JOHN SIMM!!) I have this intense love for Phil Glenister as Gene Hunt and damn I can't get enough of that bloody camel hair coat or those gloves, oh GOD the gloves!!! I can't help it if the shows I love have a penchant for subtext so thick that you have to wear rubber boots to sludge through it! Also, yeah, might as well throw in that I have this thing for odd, rare pairings that squick other people right off the charts. Sam Tyler and Tony Crane? Bring it on! John and Dean Winchester? Yeah...There may be a special place in fandom hell for me and I'm just fine with that, really I am...And now? Who is owning my fandom soul? That would be those pretty, pretty boys in the Star Trek reboot, not to mention some of it's original occupants as well. Do I have a crush on 78 year old Leonard Nimoy? Why, yes, yes I do...
John Barrowman as Captain Jack is made of awesome stuff, omnisexual time agent that he is...The choice for Eleven does not bother me at all, though I will miss Ten-Inch to pieces... I loved RTD but I am hapy that Moffat has taken over...I love, love, love Papa Winchester and all that baggage he comes with. That being said I love Dean too, and all his pretty, pretty baggage, though Sammy Winchester, well, yeah, he's a big, gangly whiny bitch. Castiel? Mmmmmh, wonder if angels really look like that??? I watch Big Bang Theory because that kid that plays Sheldon is the funniest thing ever and because let's face it, Kaley Cuoco is hot. Speaking of hot girls, um, I love Billie Piper. Rose, Hannah/Belle...Don't care. Love her. Secret Diary of a Call Girl is fun to watch even if just for Billie's near nakedness I tell you.

Fandom wank bores me to absolute tears. I will friend almost anyone back, thing is I'd like to get to know you. I love my flist and I ramble on and on about all things real life and fandom and everything in between. I've been called an enabler, and I like to get out my pokey stick...I like to beta almost as much as I like to write, that being said, I prefer the stuff I beta to be in a fandom I am at least slightly familiar with and to someone whose work I know. If I don't know it already and you want me to beta, send me some links first to stuff of yours. I am a reading fiend and I always, always comment. I tend to like long winded, thoughtful comments but have been known to fnuergle and guh with the best of them. I am a comment whore and I talk about sex all the frikkin' time. Still want to be friends? Great!!!
I write RL stuff too, working very hard at trying to make that a full or part time gig, but in the meantime I work in the retail hell known as Old Navy.
